7. Health regulations
Yellow fever and cholera vaccinations are required only if arriving within six days of leaving or transiting through an infected country. New Caledonia is free from malaria.
WHO has a policy of no smoking for all WHO meetings and associated functions.
Meeting rooms and offices in the Centre de Conférence (Conference centre) are smoke-free areas. Most hotels in Noumea have designated areas for smoking.
9. Medical services
Medical services are provided in the Centre de Conférence. In an emergency, representatives may call Service Médical d'Urgences de l'hôspital de Nouméa or the Emergency medical service of the hospital of Noumea (S.A.M.U.) by dialing 15.
