The Regional Committee

         EXPRESSES its appreciation and thanks to:

1. the Government of New Caledonia for:

   (a) hosting the fifty-sixth session of the Regional Committee in Noumea;

   (b) the excellent arrangements and facilities provided;

   (c) the generous welcome and hospitality received;

2. the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and the Rapporteurs elected by the Committee;
