The Regional Committee,

1. DECIDES that the dates of the fifty-fourth session shall be from 8 to 12 September 2003;
2. CONFIRMS that the fifty-fourth session of the Regional Committee shall be held at the regional headquarters in Manila;
3. EXPRESSES its appreciation to the Government of China for its offer to act as host to the fifty-fifth session of the Regional Committee in 2004;
4. ACCEPTS the invitation of the Government of China provided a satisfactory agreement can be concluded between the Government and WHO by 31 March 2004.
