10. Climate and clothing
The average temperature in September ranges from about 24° C to 27° C. Summer is from May to September and the weather is warm and humid.
For official functions, dark suits are required. National costume is acceptable.
11. Language
Portuguese and Chinese are the two official languages. Cantonese is the most widely spoken dialect. English is Macao’s third language and is generally used in trade, tourism and commerce.
