The Regional Committee,
Having examined the proposed programme budget for the biennium 1998-1999 to be financed from the regular budget and other sources of funds;*
Noting that the biennial programme budgeting is aligned to the strategies and priorities agreed to by the Regional Committee and the global priorities determined by the Executive Board;
REQUESTS the Regional Director to transmit the programme budget proposals to the Director-General, for consideration and inclusion in his proposed programme budget for the financial period 1998-1999.
