The Regional Committee,

         Noting that the periods of tenure of four members of the Sub-Committee of the Regional Committee on Programmes and Technical Cooperation end at the forty-fifth session of the Regional Committee,

1. DECIDES to appoint the representatives of Japan, Malaysia, Tuvalu and the United States of America (Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands) as members of the Sub-Committee for three years from the forty-fifth session, recalling that the other four members, whose periods of tenure expire in 1995, are the representatives of Australia, China, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Philippines;
2. THANKS the representatives of Cook Islands, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Republic of Korea and Samoa for their services to the Sub-Committee.
