The Regional Committee,

         Noting that the period of tenure of the representative of the Government of the People's Republic of China as a member of the Joint Coordinating Board of the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases expires on 31 December 1991;*

1. SELECTS the Government of the Philippines to send a representative to meetings of the Joint Coordinating Board for a period of three years from 1 January 1992 to 31 December 1994;
2. THANKS the representative of the Government of the People's Republic of China for serving on the Board.
