The Regional Committee,

         Considering resolution WHA43.16 on Tobacco or health and the Regional Action Plan on Tobacco or Health for 1990-1994;

         Noting the commitment to report on an evaluation of progress within the Region at a follow-up regional meeting in 1994;

1. CONGRATULATES the Regional Director on the development of the Regional Plan;
2. REQUESTS the Regional Director to report to the Regional Committee in 1992 on the ongoing. implementation of the plan.
