         Having considered the report of the Regional Director setting out the details of the contingency plan for programme budget implementation reductions for 1988-1989;*

1. TAKES NOTE of the contingency plan for programme budget implementation reductions for 1988-1989;
2. EXPRESSES its concern about the adverse effects of the contingency plan, if implemented, on WHO's cooperation with Member States in support of their strategies for health for all.
