The Regional Committee,

         Having considered the report of the Regional Director, *

         Noting that the period of tenure of the representative of the Government of Malaysia as a member of the Joint Coordinating Board of the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases expires on 31 December 1986;

1. SELECTS the Government of Fiji to send a representative to meetings of the Joint Coordinating Board of the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases for a period of three years from 1 January 1987 to 31 December 1989;
2. THANKS the representative of the Government of Malaysia for serving on the Board.
