The Regional Committee,

         Noting that the period of tenure of the representative of the Government of the Philippines as a member of the Joint Coordinating Board of the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases will expire on 31 December 1982,

1. SELECTS the Government of the Republic of Korea to send a representative to meetings of the Joint Coordinating Board for a period of three years from 1 January 1983 to 31 December 1985.
2. THANKS the representative of the Philippines for serving on the Board.
