The Regional Committee,
Noting that Miss Bernice Newton, Chief of Administration and Finance of the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific is retiring from the Organization after twenty-nine years of valuable and loyal service, seven of which were spent in the Regional Office for the Western Pacific;
Recognizing the useful contributions she has made in increasing the efficient management of the Regional Office;
EXPRESSES its deep appreciation to Miss Newton, and wishes her good health and happiness in her retirement.
