The Regional Committee,

         Having considered the draft medium-term programme for health manpower development in the Western Pacific for the period 1978-1983, *

         Noting that the programme may be subject to modification as further information becomes available from Member States;

1. DECIDES that it be used, as amended in due course, as a basis for activities developed under the health manpower development programme for the Western Pacific Region during the period 1978-1983;
2. REQUESTS the Regional Director to transmit the draft programme to the Director-General for inclusion in the global medium-term programme for health manpower development.
