Twelfth session


Resolution of Appreciation

         The Regional Committee,

         EXPRESSES its appreciation and thanks to:

(1) the Government and good people of New Zealand for having invited the Regional Committee to hold its twelfth session in Wellington;
(2) the Right Honourable the Prime Minister, Mr K.J. Holyoake, for having formally opened the twelfth session of the Regional Committee;
(3) Dr H.B. Turbott, Director-General of Health, and his staff for the excellent arrangements made for the meeting;
(4) the Chairman and other officers of the Committee;
(5) the Chairman of the Technical Discussions, Colonel J. Ferris Fuller, for his excellent planning and chairmanship, and the other experts who served as members of the Expert Panel;
(6) Mr P. Dowse, mayor, Lower Hutt City, and the members of his staff for kindly arranging the most instructive visit to the flouridation plant;
(7) the representatives of the United Nations, the South Pacific Commission, and of the non-governmental organizations who made statements;
(8) the Regional Director and the Secretariat for their work in connection with the meeting.
