The Regional Committee,

         Having discussed the project for the issuing of postage stamps devoted to the malaria eradication programme,

1. NOTES that four countries in the Region have agreed to issue such stamps and that a further four countries have the matter still under consideration;
2. URGES the health authorities in countries which have as yet made no decision, to emphasize to the postal authorities the importance of universal participation in this project.
