The Regional Committee,

         Having considered the question of priorities in programme in accordance with the request of the Fourteenth World Health Assembly,

1. CONSIDERS that the present procedure being followed in the Region is satisfactory; and
2. REAFFIRMS that the criteria approved by the Regional Committee at its ninth session * provide sufficient guidance to governments and the Regional Director as far as the establishment of programme priorities in the Region is concerned.
