The Regional Committee,

Having considered the document on resistance of insects to insecticides*

REQUESTS the Regional Director:

(1) to give full priority to the implementation of the inter-regional symposium on insect resistance in 1958 ** if funds should become available, and

(2) to continue the collection and dissemination of information on research on insect resistance.
