The Regional Committee,

         Having considered the report of the Technical Discussions Group and the recommendations contained therein, **

1. AGREES that the time allocated to the discussions during future meetings of the Committee should not exceed three half-day sessions, that the method should allow as much time as possible for group discussions, and that the topic for the next Technical Discussions should be "Leprosy Control"; and
2. NOTES that the topic provisionally selected for the 1958 Technical Discussions is "Methods and Approaches in the Improvement of Vital and Health Statistics".
