The Regional Committee,

         Having considered resolution WHA9.45 adopted by the Ninth World Health Assembly, *

1. ENDORSES the request of the World Health Assembly that the Director-General should study the feasibility of holding such a conference, as an inter-regional activity, in 1958; and
2. RECOMMENDS that countries and territories of the Western Pacific Region with a leprosy problem be encouraged to participate in an inter-regional conference on leprosy.
