General Programme of Work for a Specific Period

         The Regional Committee,

  1. CONSIDERS that there should be developed for the region along term programme which can be recommended to the Director-General and which will serve within the Region as a guide for preparation of the detailed yearly programmers; and
  2. INSTRUCTS the Regional Director, after consultation with as many countries in the Region as practicable, to prepare a draft long term programmed for approximately a five year period for discussion and consideration by the Regional Committee at its next session.
